PhD-Student Position 2010-2013 in Psychology/ Behavioural Sciences 
Differential and Personality Research in Primates
Free University Berlin, Department of Psychology, Germany

3-year research assistant 50-65% BAT IIa (German pay scale)
(subject to final approval by the funding agency)
start August/ September 2010 (expected)

Individual-specific patterns of behaviour (personality differences) are increasingly studied also in nonhuman primates, but systematic descriptions and categorisations are still lacking for many species. The project will investigate several simian and great ape species using non-invasive behaviour tests and observations, and sophisticated methodological and statistical approaches.
